This will largely depend on the individual, as we price our treatments on how much dermal filler is required to produce the desired look. Typically, we will only require 1-2 ml of dermal filler for marionette line treatment. For more information, please take a look at our price list.

Dermal fillers can last around 12 months, but this figure tends to vary for each client. The results of the treatment are boosted by our use of only the best filler products such as Juvederm Voluma, Restylane, Belotero and the Teoxane RHA family.

Dr Owen uses a very fine needle to apply dermal fillers, which means that the discomfort experienced during and following surgery is minimised. Our dermal fillers are also pre-mixed with local anaesthetic, and great care is given to apply cooling and vibrations to further reduce any discomfort.

Side effects following marionette line treatments are usually minimal, with common experiences including mild swelling and redness around the injection site. Any chance of serious complications is greatly reduced with careful technique, expert knowledge and frequently blunt-tip microcannula. In the event of any serious complications developing, the hyaluronic acid fillers contain an enzyme which can break up the dermal filler to reverse the effects of any blood vessel blockages.

We recommend that you do not partake in any intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours following surgery. We also advise that you avoid air travel during this time period, and that you do not apply makeup for the first 12 hours after treatment.
