The majority of our patients will notice a reduction in skin dryness after around 3-4 weeks. The absence of BDDE from the patented treatment means that Profhilo treatments are biocompatible, nonallergic and have prolonged duration.
At our Profhilo London clinic, we tend to treat areas such as the face, neck and decolletage. However, suitable injections may also be used to treat upper arms, knees and abdomen.
Profhilo is injected with great precision to the problem areas, and is then left to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Water is pulled into the dermis, hydrating, tightening and lifting the tissue.
Profhilo treatment does not cause any known serious side effects. Following injections, you may experience slight redness and bruising around the injection sites, however these symptoms should subside after a few hours.
A wide variety of patients request Profhilo treatment due to the effectiveness of the injections. While people over the age of 30 tend to experience the conditions that Profhilo is best suited to treat more than younger people, injections can be used to prevent the signs of ageing from appearing in those below 30 too.
